eye twitching after dental work, is this normal or is something wrong?
I had a temp crown and a filling on my right back bottom teeth - the last one is the crown and the one next to it was a filling - on Thursday afternoon. Since then my right eye (lower lid) has been twitching like CRAZY. It's driving me batty. You can literally SEE the twitch. I'm worried that the dentist hit a nerve or something. :nails I go back Thursday for two more fillings and again on the 12th for the perm crown. :nails
Any one have any ideas??? :hunh <---- that's me, Miss Twitchy. :/ |

I've had one for the past two weeks and it's driving me nuts too!!!! Mine is from stress and yes my girls can see it and find it fascinating to watch :hunh (that's me with my eye twitching in unison with yours!)
Hopefully your twitch is just stress related from the dental work and will disappear soon. :hug |
Re: eye twitching after dental work, is this normal or is something wrong?
I'm wondering if it's stress-related too. I get eye twitches periodically - sometimes when I'm stressed, and sometimes just randomly (perhaps I'm stressed then too and just don't realize it?).

Re: eye twitching after dental work, is this normal or is something wrong?
:think I hope it IS stress induced and not something related to the needle in my face! :lol I'm really a "good" dental patient. Going doesn't bother me - unlike my "white coat syndrome" that is really, really just sad. My BP is always sky high anytime I go to a doc. :blush
I was hoping someone would say, "Yes! It's from the pain meds, silly"... :lol Now I'm still a bit worried! :bag |

Dh has had a twitch after surgery. I don't know whether it from the surgery or meds, but it went away. :)
