Doctor question?
I need to look for a new doctor. I would prefer to use one that is open to more traditional western medicine when necessary, but who will try to find the root cause of things, be open to dietary changes first, etc. Is there a type of doctor I can search for in my area? Terminology to look for on their site? Etc.
Basically, I would like someone similar to paleomom (I realize she is not a general doctor). I am not paleo, but I appreciate how she approaches things from a scientific perspective, but still recommends natural changes when possible, recommends testing your levels of something before supplementing, etc. |
Re: Doctor question?
Integrative medicine could be what you are looking for.

Re: Doctor question?
A functional doctor does that.
