Ground Beef Recipes for Slow Cooker?

Can someone help me come up with recipes using ground beef? I'm dairy, soy, corn, wheat & nut free and limit tomatoes, citrus, broccoli, & some other veggies.

This recipe comes out looking utterly gross, but is delicious. It resembles certain savory meat mousses that were served in the Middle Ages.

Brown and drain some ground beef. Put it into your slow cooker with white or half-milled brown rice, smashed garlic, and chopped celery with leaves; season highly with savory herbs and white pepper. Moisten thoroughly with whatever you use instead of mushroom soup/white sauce and leave to cook until the rice grains burst. Stir occasionally and add more liquid if necessary.

You're right, that sounds gross. :lol

After eliminating all the recipes that uses dairy, corn, etc that left me with teriyaki beef.

Brown ground beef and drain, place in slowcooker, season with ginger, coriander, whatever you grab from the spice cabinet and pour a bottle of teriyaki sauce over it and add your favorite veggies ... serve over cooked rice or noodles.

Any recipes where you don't have to cook the ground beef? To me that almost defeats the purpose of using a crockpot :giggle No offense meant, of course! :hug I need mega low-maintenance meals :)

Um, no :shifty

I've found that raw ground beef in the slowcooker = grease. Blah.

Get the lowest fat ground beef you can then make Hamburger Soup.

Hamburger Soup

1 lb ground beef
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp oregano
¼ tsp basil
¼ tsp salt
1 env. Onion soup mix
3 cups boiling water
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup sliced carrots

1 cup macaroni, cooked & drained
¼ cup parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp parsley

Put first set of ingredients in crock pot. Cook on low 6 – 8 hours. Add last 3 items. Enjoy.
