I'd be curious to see the recipe if it turns out. :) :shifty

Tonight is burritos/tacos.

It’s this - https://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/c...-traybake.html

The verdict was that it was too lemon-y but otherwise nice. I’ll do it with one lemon instead of two next time.

Crockpot whole roasted chicken with sweet potatoes and carrots and green beans. I might make some gravy from the drippings.

Re: What are you eating in September?

I menu planned and bought any pantry items for 2 weeks so now need to stop at the grocery on way home from work and buy the fresh for this week.

Tonight is lasagna (one beef, one spinach/mushroom) and we can all eat together as a family. Ds soccer practice canceled due to the 4 game tournament this past weekend so we can all eat together after dd's practice which is immediately after school anyway.

Let's see I only need to make 3 meals this week because 1 is leftovers and Friday night inlaws are taking us out to eat.

I'm kinda jealous seeing you have soccer practices and games. :(

We had chili & baked potatoes on Saturday and fajitas yesterday. Need to come up with a plan for today. :think Something with stew meat, I think.

I walked in from coop and groshry shopping at 5:30. Dh looked at me and said that he didn't think i could get dinner on the table by 6, which is completely true, and offered to buy dinner. So I said yes.

Dh did that for me last week. I was so grateful.

I forgot to buy cottage cheese for the lasagna . . . again.

So I made the enchiladas (1 beef and bean, 1 bean and cheese) with red sauce. Side salad and asparagus on the side.

Re: What are you eating in September?

Ds suggested grilled cheese w/smoked gouda and ham, so I did that. Cut up a canary melon that had *less* than zero flavor, and assorted chips (ie there are 7 bags of chips open in the cupboard EAT THEM BEFORE YOU OPEN MORE :haha)

Last night we had flank steak, scalloped potatoes, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, and bread.
