All you bread revolution girls - are you still making bread this way?
Just curious. I have finally decided to give this a try in the next few days -- before grocery shopping day :shifty :giggle Call me slow or something. . :shifty
I am jumping right in with the ww sandwich bread as the main thing we do with bread is make sandwiches for dh to take to work and we don't use much white flour (which means I have very little in the house ;) ). Just wondering if anyone is still doing this and if they are still happy with the process :) |

Yes, every week, at least... (A new batch, I mean... fresh bread every day or two) And I JUST (as in 2 minutes ago) ordered the book so I can try a bunch of the variations... Mmmmmm.... So yummy...

Oh, forgot to say I wasn't nuts about the WW sandwich bread, but I really like the bran enriched white... just sub 3/4 cups of wheat bran for the flour in the "half" recipe (3 cups water, 1.5 T salt, 1.5 T yeast, 3/4 cups bran, 5.75 cups flour). Still has that "light" taste, but more fibre.

Oh yeah! We love it here. In fact, I'm considering selling it because "specialty" bread is so uncommon in Malaysia. My dh has been encouraging me to do it... maybe I'll get a new oven out of it :)

Is the 5-minute-a-day bread the same as the bread revolution? I've been making the 5-minute-a-day basic recipe bread for about a month or six weeks or something now. My husband pretty much thinks he has died and gone to heaven.

We are! I just bought a larger jar for storing. Mine is starting to get a sour flavor. It is so nice to have fresh bread.
I like the ww. It is a little heavy but still very yummy. |

I do the WW sandwich bread. I make one loaf at a time, but even that way, it is still sooo easy.

Somebody take pity on the late-comers (and those too lazy to search :shifty) and name this book? :heart

I don't have the book, but it has something to do with Artisan bread in 5 minutes a day.

I haven't been very successful with this :shrug My first batch was :rockon and everyone was thrilled but now for some reason everything tastes salty :( I don't know why. I even bought white wheat and made it with that :shrug
