Thank you gift ideas
 

We are staying at a family member’s home for a few days while they are on their honeymoon. I had planned to make a welcome home/date night basket for them with delicious chocolates and gourmet pastries and wine as our thank you for their generosity but their dads came by to drop off items from the reception and it included cases of wine and beer and champagne enough for a while other party. And a freezer full of decadent treats that were not eaten at the reception.

I NEED a new thank you idea! What would you do?

A DVD and bag of popcorn? And 1 6 pack of soda or seltzer? It may seem silly, but it's a nice "snuggle up on the couch" kind of date night packet.

Thanks for the ideas. We opted for a grocery store gift card since they opened their kitchen to us. And a little card with a gift card to the pet store just for their very spoiled very friendly kitty. I think that will go over well.
