After I eat lunch (which my darling dd is making me right now :D), I'm off to shop for my BIG freezer cooking in preparation for baby's arrival!

Re: Freezer cooking..........
Charla, all the recipes I'm using are ones I've found via Pinterest :)
Today, I conquered: 2 meals of Mongolian Beef 2 bags for French Dip sandwiches 2 bags of Beef Barley Soup 2 huge Calzones 2 meals of Chicken Fajitas 2 meals of "French Chicken" (interesting, it has whole cranberry sauce, French dressing & lipton onion soup mix) In the last couple weeks, I also stashed away 1 meal's worth of chili, 1 tuna noodle casserole & 2 or 3 (can't find the paper I wrote this on!!) batches of stuffed shells. Tomorrow, I hope to do: 2 batches of French Toast Casserole 2 batches of Chicken Tortilla Soup 2 batches of Chicken Taquitoes 2 batches of Creamy Beef Enchiladas 2 bags of Minestrone 2 bags of "guts" ;) for chicken pot pie 2 bags of fried rice We shall see how I feel when I wake up tomorrow! :shrug3 My dogs are BARKING right now!! |

Re: Freezer cooking..........
That's awesome, 2T! I think we'll be joining you for dinner in a few weeks :giggle
I've managed to make some burritos, chicken nuggets, cookie dough and trail mix. I'd made some empanadas (breakfast pastry), but already ate them all :bag |
Re: Freezer cooking..........

Re: Freezer cooking..........
Well.... I have run out of freezer room....didn't make the rice yet & only chopped/froze some of the veggies for the minestrone. On the upside, I did three blueberry french toast casseroles! Freezer cooking is super fulfilling :O
Stumbled on this free book via pinterest: http://www.blessedbeyondadoubt.com/5...al-family-fun/ |
