Recipes using chick peas / garbanzo beans
I've had several cans in my pantry for a long time. When I make hummus, some gets eaten the first day and that's it. So I'm hoping for some ideas other than hummus.

Have you tried making dessert hummus? :yum Brownie batter hummus is amazing :heart My kids will eat that stuff like nobodies business :yum

I make these with chickpeas instead of tofu. Good to eat plain or on a salad or in rice.

I just saw a recipe for sweet potato chick pea buddha bowls with a maple tahini sauce. It looked yummy, but I won't be able to get my hands on some tahini.

I put chickpeas into pasta meals a LOT. Like, diced chicken, tomatoes, peppers, onion, spinach, zucchini, and chick peas, tossed with pasta and topped with shredded parmesan. Super quick and tasty.
I also roast chick peas with various seasonings as part of a rice bowl meal. |

Coconut curry recipes often have spinach and garbanzo beans :).

Put your chickpeas, peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla in the food processor and blend until smooth. Remove it from your food processor and stir in the chocolate chips. |
