Anyone else already downloaded it?

What do you think of family sharing?

Or any other features?

- so far we have set up family sharing and I have been able to get rid of some frustrations I have had with 3 of us sharing the same iTunes account.

I like the medical card.

I haven't done so yet. I might wait until the first update after 8.0 comes out.

I love the Siri knows who I am and Siri knows who DH is and we aren't the same anymore.

Oh! I haven't seen this pop up yet. I'm so excited for the new iPhones, so I'm gonna DL right away to learn how my soon to be new phone is gonna work. :glasses

I have. I don't like the idea that family could buy things on my credit card. I also don't like the android feature of the word suggestions above the keypad. I wonder if I can turn it off.

We are going to try loading an iTunes card instead of a credit card. We usually don't keep a card on file.

I'm not impressed with the word suggestion either. My dyslexic Ds likes it.

You can turn off the predictive text under Settings > General > Keyboards :yes

Does anyone know how to stop sharing your location in iMessage?

Settings -> Privacy -> Location services -> messages -> set to never

I've done that, but when I delete messages from this person it asks if I want to keep sharing my location. Weird. I've already set it to "never".

Hum.... Since the update my phone has been alerting me to sharing.

If you click on that person's details there is an option about sharing your location. I just accidentally clicked on it.

I updated to iOS 7 a month ago when all my apps started crashing.

I upgraded to iOS 8 on my iPad mini, but not yet on my iPhone 5s. Jury is still out on it for me.

Since updating my phone to iOS 8, my wifi connection has been sooooo slow. I haven't updated my iPad and if I try to pull up the same page at exactly the same time, the iPad pulls it up immediately whereas my phone times out almost always. So frustrating.
