pruning dead branches
We have some dead branches on a couple trees that need to go. We got a quote from a tree company, but dh thinks we could DIY. He showed me an electric saw pruner on Amazon that we could buy for something like $60. I think it is 9 feet long, so you could get to about 15 feet. Anyone used anything like this before? Some branches are small, some are medium. I'm thinking even if we can't get all of them, we could do some and save some money. Is there something I am missing in this plan?

Re: pruning dead branches
I have this pruner and it works well for me. It won't work if your branches are too thick, but it does give me a lot more control than using a power tool from the ground would. https://www.rona.ca/en/tree-pruner-w...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

Re: pruning dead branches
You tube it. Find at least 6-10 videos on how to do this and the safety concerns and tips. Then decide.
