I have no machines
I have no bread machines, or mixers. Well I have a little cake mixer for batter (hand held) but that's it.
I want to bake my own bread. I know it will be harder. Can someone link me or tell me the best way to go about this? |

I am no expert, but I had great luck with my Kitchen Aid mixer. Do you have one of those?
The LLL cookbook "Whole Foods for the Whole Family" has great info. I have best results when I do not try to hard. If I try too hard, .I mess up my bread. |

Re: I have no machines
You just need a big bowl and a spoon. You start to need in the bowl and then throw some flour on the counter and knead it. It's very simple. You just need to practice a bit. You might want to see if your library has any dvds/videos to watch that show how the bread should look throughout the process.

Re: I have no machines
All I have is a hand held mixer and I've made my first two batches of bread (not counting the tons of times I've made specialty bread like cheese and cinnamon bread) the recipes were found on cooks.com and all i entered for a search was easy white bread and easy wheat bread. both recipes were for doing it by hand
