We had to stop our KT for a bit because the kids were having some internal fungus issues. I think those have cleared. I realize the probiotics in the KT should have helped, but I was worried they wouldn't. We have too much yeast too. So... After a week an a half of Oregon grape root detox, I have more KT brewing. |

Fail. I double fermented with juice, stuck it in the fridge and nada. No fizz (I don't know what happened!) and it pretty much just tastes like mildly sour juice. |

it was a cherry juice. I left it out on the counter for 48 hours, then put it in the fridge
And after I posted last, I went and tasted a different jar. Tastes good. Kombucha like. Little bit of fizz. holy stink, I'm confused. Drink it or no? |

I don't know if this has been suggested or not, but I like using fruit flavored tea in mine. My favorites have been a black cherry tea and peach tea. :yum

I can do the exact same thing twice and get fizz in one but not another.
