Philly beef recipe?

I have a 1 lb. package of philly cut beef from our grass fed cow. The farmer's wife told me it is cut thicker than the Steak-umm type philly beef. Any ideas other than a sandwich on how to use it?

I've made similarly cut beef into beef fajitas. I just cook it in the following seasoned oil, and it's really quick and easy. You can sautee onions and peppers in the same oil, if your family likes them, and then serve with your usual taco condiments. We're grain-free, so we use a lettuce leaf instead of torillas (or often I just make it into a kind of salad to eat with a fork).

Fajita seasoning oil:

1 to 2 T. olive oil
1 t. cumin
1/2 t. dried organo
2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced

You could also cook it up like you would for a sandwich with onion, peppers, mushrooms, but serve it over rice with cheese melted on top.
Yum!

I do have all those peppers in the freezer...so that would work for either recipe! Thanks!

Did you get a package of this with your beef Amy?

No, I did not get a package of that. I wish I had, though, now that I know it exists. I have thinly sliced the london broil cuts to make philly steak sandwiches, though. I do not like "London Broil", so I figured since the sandwiches we get at the fair are made from london broil., I could use them for that.
We are really liking the meat, though. Thanks for the tip!
