iPhone users!

How is your battery life?

I charge my phone all night, every night and by 5 pm it's giving me the 20% battery warning.

I do use it a lot, mostly texting, web browsing, and talking. I'm pretty good at fully shutting down apps, so I don't have a ton of background stuff running.

Maybe I'm off base, but I feel like it should last longer than 12 hours.

I don't use mine for web surfing much, so it lasts for a few days on one charge. If the kids are playing games on it, it will run the battery down much faster.

The good thing about it is that it does charge up really fast.

I use mine constantly and I have to plug it in at some point during the day (and at night of course) I have wondered if I could buy a better battery before.

This. There are battery packs that you can buy that clip on the back like a case - I think it's a full battery, but it might be a little less than the factory one.

If you still have AppleCare on it, I'd bring it in. I've had them give me a brand new one before for even less problems than battery life. :shrug3

I do have Apple Care. It's less than three months old.

Mine is a year old, and I am at 20% at 2, sometimes earlier. :( I am really disappointed, because I have another 9 months before I can get an early upgrade. I am on it all the time though..

I have insurance through verizon, so I wonder if they would do something with it.

Another question.. How do you close apps out completely? :shifty

Mines usually at less than 20% by noon or 1 but I use it a ton. knows all the tricks for extending battery life. I could ask him.

That sounds about right, mine runs out very fast if I am playing games. Also, you want to make sure you don't over-charge it or the battery won't be as strong, so you might try charging it for the 1.5 hours before bedtime and then unplugging it before sleep (when it hits 100%).

Lots of web time and some games (like angry birds) kill my battery quickly. Also if you Bluetooth turned on shut it off when not using it that helps with battery life.

Both of my iPhones have done this and dh's have as well. (between us we have had a 3G, 3GS, 4 & 4S)

Mine lasts roughly the day. I FB and GCM and use it for email quite a lot. I also use it as my iPod. I love the battery because my Droids would die every two hours or less. :-/ So this seems like a great improvement to me... :shifty

I only use my phone a lot when I am out of the house, and so I always have enough power I keep a car charger in my car so I can always plug in when it gets low. It charges a lot slower than the wall charger, but does help.
