About six of them. Nice, big, brown eggs. Can I still eat them?

My eggs are always on the counter. :shrug3 But they come from the market and have never been refrigerated. It usually takes weeks for them to go bad.

eggs have an easy test - put them in water. if they sink, they're fine; if they float, toss them.

I have heard that unwashed eggs don't need to be refrigerated, but I don't think that applies to washed, commercial eggs...? But I'd just do the sink-or-float test.

They are totally fine.
We always stored eggs on a shelf in the cellar when I was growing up. Yes, there are fewer extreme highs & lows down there, but we are talking weeks--even months.


(Of course,;) if witches are made of wood, they float anyhow)

I was just feeling a little silly. I do like that boiled eggs spin quickly. (in my book that's all they're good for. Oh, and decorating at Easter)
