It's completely gone

I've had a rough, draining sinus infection, so I was a little hoarse with a sore throat yesterday. And I spent the day with my good girlfriend, and we yakked about natural birth, GBD, counseling, clothes, God, food, marriage, babies, school...you get the picture

And today, no voice at all.

The vocal instructor side of me is telling myself, "No talking for three days!!" But that's just not possible. I've been drinking hot herbal tea and tons of water to help thin out the congestion, and breathing in steam with eucalyptus oil. What else can I do?

My throat is killing me today.

I can't even comfort my baby with my voice or talk to my toddler at all.
