Okay, um... This might not be good, but I don't see any obvious animal ingredients on the box of cheap instant chocolate pudding I just bought at Aldi. It does have the ambiguous "natural and artificial flavors" ingredient on the label but the allergy info only lists soybean. Some brands have dairy products but this one doesn't. I make it with soymilk. It's total junk food of course.

Ingredients (just in case I'm missing something hidden): Sugar, modified food starch, cocoa and less than 2% of disodium phosphate, tetrasodium phosphate, natural and artificial flavors, salt, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, mono and diglycerides, propylene glycol, red 40, yellow 5, blue 1.

On second thought maybe you don't actually want to eat that.

It tastes better if you don't read the label first. Any good homemade pudding recipe can be subbed with soymilk or better yet almond milk.
