Based on your OP I would not be looking for another car. I'd keep that one until repairs started costing thousands, with an s.
Regular maintenance and replacing worn out parts is so much cheaper than a car payment. Plus, insurance goes up with a newer vehicle because of the replacement value.

Most vehicles that people call SUVs are actually crossovers. It's an SUV style body on a car chassis/frame.
Legit SUVs are things like Chevy Suburban, Ford Expedition, etc. They are much larger than a crossover, have a higher clearance, towing capacity, etc.
Honda Pilot is a crossover, as an example.
I've had all 3. We currently have 2 SUVs and a crossover. It just depends on what you need.
