at that stage, I found that I needed the quiet and time time as much as the kids.

So all three of us (mom, baby and toddler) would go in to the master bedroom and have a nice quiet cuddly time together. We usually read a story, then I nursed baby to sleep while toddler cuddled on the other side and sometimes toddler and I would also fall asleep, sometimes we wouldn't and just enjoyed the cuddle time together.

Once baby was nursed to sleep I was able to unlatch and let her nap and then either get up with toddler or, best case scenario toddler also fell asleep in that time and I would either go get something done or just sleep myself.
