I had a tamale pie that I wasn't sure about at first but it came out alright.
I made homemade pinto beans with it. I usually make them the South Texas way with lots of chili powder but this time I decided to do much less chili powder and add cilantro and tomato and a touch of jalapeno. They came out more Mexican style. I really liked them and so did my dd who is the bean lover here.
