Yes, I treated insulin resistence with the McDougall diet and never had any further complications.

He has a "spa" retreat. Some of people who are insulin-resistant diabetic are able to cut insulin out completely or at least lower their insulin shots after several days at his retreat. Look for the Star McDougallers on his website.
