I'd rather teach my kids what the Bible means when it says "men" and "mankind" than use a translation that is skewed in one direction or another (no offense meant to anyone who loves those translations - I do read them, but I'd hesitate to give them to one of my kids).

I know what you are talking about. It's annoying. I'm good with "fishers of men" not fishers of people.

I'd better make up my mind and order one because I want to give it as a gift to dd in a couple weeks.
