I use the one from the Farm cookbook -
2C Cornmeal
2C Flour
5tsp baking powder
1.5 tsp salt
2Tbsp sugar
2.75C liquid (water or non-dairy milk)
1/4C oil
425 degree oven.
Sift and mix dry ingredients, add oil and milk (she mentions here that soured milk or yogurt is good too) Grease a square cake pan or cast iron skillet, spoon batter in and bake about 1 hour (until tester returns clean)
