If I'm making the meatballs to have with spaghetti sauce, I like to put 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce in the meatball mix.
Oh, you MUST have some garlic!
Once it's all mixed up I turn the whole thing out onto a large cutting board, shape it into a rectangle that's about 1.5"-2" high, then cut it like I'd cut a brownie, lines up and down. These little squares are about equal in size, and when rolled into balls, make meatballs almost the same size.
