I've always had trouble getting my 100% whole wheat bread to rise.
I've talked w/ other people who have had th same problem. Well, I came up w/ this solution today and it worked great.
It rose w/in 1/2 hr.
I preheated the oven to 250 degrees and also boiled some water. I put the boiled water in a bowl on the bottom shelf of my oven, then shut the oven off. Then I put the bread in the greased loaf pan & put it on the top shelf of my oven.
It rose so fast and doubled in size... and it seems fluffier than it usually does.
