This recipe was from a local gourmet chef, he owns his own resteraunt and had some leftover pumpkin pies one year and wala-
You need 1 pumpkin pie
and chicken broth
You dump the whole pie- crust and all in a pot then cover with chicken broth then use an imersion mixer or similar to puree it all together adding more broth as needed. The crist makes it nice and thick and creamy it is soooo yummy and soooo easy. A great way to use up leftover pumpkin pie.
