I think that's where my confusion lies. *Who* would be stopping you and asking if the child is yours? We only have that at border crossing points going into the U.S., not when moving from province to province. That's why I wondered, in my earlier post, if things are much different than they are here in Canada. I'm trying to picture how it would happen and who would be questioning you.
