Lol, I can't handle running through the snow barefoot as much as I used to, but even plunging your hands down into fresh powder for a second then brushing off is still grounding

I think buying things definitely can count as self-care. I bought a coloring book today from Costco that I've had my eye on for a while. I also bought a DVD the kids are looking forward to and hopefully I will have a bit of quiet time while they watch it
I also bought a special snack for dd1 and I to enjoy during our weekly tv show. I enjoy her fleeting company so much that it seems like self-care to me when we can sit and enjoy a show together without chaos going on (she's 17 so I'm enjoying each snippet of time I can with her.)
