The directions on that website said to put on their skin at the base of their neck and base of tail. That's what we've done. It says 1-2 drops. Mine comes out pretty quickly so it's hard to only get 1-2 drops. It smells pretty intense. I tend to only use it when we're hiking although I did put it on last week because of being outside in tall grass.
Other sites have talked about putting on collars for *preventative* flea protection.
We saw the vet today. No signs of fleas.
And they aren't bad in my area anyway! The vet tech doesn't even treat her dogs at all! (And they don't get fleas.)
