My BIL got it from his sister and all he had was a headache and lack of appetite and scratchy throat for 10 days.
If we were to get it we'd start 1) vitamins 2) bone broth 3) elderberry syrup (but only the first few days) 4) rest rest rest.

Our bathtub has a crack in it so we can't take baths but I will keep in mind hot showers. Ds and I already tend to take hot showers so we've probably already been doing that. Dh and dd not so much. Dh also made a big batch of soup on Tuesday (before we started feeling worse) with bones so we've been getting lots of bone broth. And we are definitely resting a lot whenever possible. I woke up last night in the middle of the night feeling super restless and I couldn't go back to sleep for about 3 hours but I've been in bed resting/sleeping during the day. I'm grateful my kids are teens and can take care of themselves for the most part.
