Well I'm glad this thread could be of help to others! In other news, my washer still sucks lol. Although I'm going to look into the Whirlpool Cabrio since a couple people mentioned it. Thanks a ton everyone!

No but it has an Affresh cleaning cycle that the manufacturer said was supposed to help....which obviously it didn't. The fan fresh feature must be on the newer ones. We bought ours in 2010 I think.
