Re: July 2020 Dinners
Grilled salmon topped with a salsa of cucumbers, tomato (from the garden), onion and whatever herbs I have on hand, baked sweet potatoes, grilled asparagus, braised greens (I have kale and beet tops).

We had Italian turkey sausages and a salad. I've been wanting to make a cobbler for the past couple of days, but I've been trying to control myself with the baking. Tonight I succumbed to the temptation. Problem is, my kids ate most of the peaches I bought yesterday, so I had to fill in with frozen cherries. I hope it is out of the oven before bedtime!

Re: July 2020 Dinners
We used a mixture - parsnips, sweet potato, carrots and regular potato. ‘Fries’ was probably the wrong word though. I used it for what I would call chips, but chips to you are crisps to me - I think Anyway, these were wedges baked in olive oil. Whatever you call them, they were tasty! The turkey burgers were a bit plain though. I think they could have done with more seasoning.

This is our second tomato. I was really surprised by the first tomato as it came onto the plant shortly after a I planted it. The tomato wasn't huge but the plant was so small that it bent it over the ground with the weight of the tomato. I also used my first jalapeno pepper out of the garden for that cucumber salsa. Can't wait to get my own cucumbers. The plants are flowering!

Peanut butter noodles tonight. Simple and good at room temp. Supposed to be warm for our area today.
