Default New Year, New Tools
I need tools. I feel like this is me I don't want to be punitive but it is all I know. When I know better I will be able to do better, right? I have found a page on the Positive Discipline website with a list of 52 of them, one foe each week of the coming year. The problem is that without accountability I will only do about 2 of them and get busy and forget and that would be the end of that. Would anyone like to join me in reading a little blip and practice being better /Moms together?

Thank you so much for that link! I definitely need to follow along! We have one of those books for their online parenting classes. I'm thinking MAYBE I can convince hubs to do this.

That does look helpful--especially since it's so tidily packaged!

I'd be keen on doing this...but I *also* really want to do the 7-week stuff laid out in Becky Bailey's book...

I'm so glad y'all want to join me. Here's what I'll do. This coming weekend I will start a new thread for week 1 and we'll go from there. This sure can't hurt anything! I could certainly learn new tools. I need to come up with a way to reinforce it... Like write this week's tool on something I will see frequently.... Hmmm.
