Re: non-dairy creamer?
I can't drink soy, it makes my mouth itch. Weird right?
Anyhoo, I found So Delicious today! We have a Fred Meyer in town and visited for the first time. What an awesome selection they have! Thanks so much for the input. More!! I want ideas of what to try from ones who've tried it. |

Re: non-dairy creamer?
Many soy creamers have whey in them.

Re: non-dairy creamer?
More on Coffee Rich....
I know I had already mentioned it, but I just wanted to add that between the soy and the Coffee Rich, the CR is my favorite. The soy adds a slightly nutty flavor. The coconut adds a slight sweet, coconut flavor if you drink the plain one, and to me, it does not mix well with the French Vanilla or Hazelnut. I am OK with coconut flavored coffee if that is what I want, and I like nutty flavor if that is what I want, but the CR just makes my coffee taste like coffee with cream, and that is what I want most of the time. Coffee Rich is in the frozen section of the supermarket, usually with the frozen fruit or breakfast items. It is hard to find here. It does have hydrogenated oil, but like I said, a little is worth it to me. It is not like I am eating a donut or poptart or something. Or using it for a cream sauce, although, you could. Coffee Rich is like the creamer that used to be served in restaurants when I was a child. They were in the little cups with the foil backed lids (now, I think most have coffee mate or half/half. ) I used to drink them.

Re: non-dairy creamer?
The soy creamer I had did not have whey in it. We couldn't even have whey at all with Jayden. (we didn't have the soy creamer then) but I didn't do whey with Evie either since Jayden had such bad experiences with it.
Also, almond milk was pretty good, albeit a bit watery in the coffee. But I prefer the flavored creamers... I don't like just the creamy part of it... it's the flavor I want |

Re: non-dairy creamer?
when i first started eating dairy free, coffee creamer was one of the hardest things to give up b/c the substitues just don't even compare.
i do NOT like the coconut creamer at all and neither does dh. we use the silk creamer but only the french vanilla; the hazelnut has this really weird flavor that i don't like. i can't seem to find the coffee rich here although i'd love to try it! oh and all the silk products are vegan so no dairy. |

Re: non-dairy creamer?
I found this the other day at my HFS.
http://www.mimiccreme.com/ I got some but won't be trying it for a few more weeks. It's expensive. I don't like the coconut milk creamer. I usually use vanilla soy milk when I drink coffee. |

Re: non-dairy creamer?
The so delicious original, I guess I expected it to taste somewhat like coconut. Maybe it's my current allergy attack but it doesn't have a taste.

Re: non-dairy creamer?
I thought so too. I expected it to be 'coconutty' too...but it wasn't. Just tasted like plain creamer.
