water coming up basement floor
We've had a few days with really hard rains. I've noticed a spot (fortunately in the unfinished part!) of our basement that gets a pretty good size puddle. There is no evidence that the water is coming from anywhere other than underneath the floor. We don't see a crack. How concerned should we be about this? It isn't anywhere near anything important, so more worried about how the water is coming in. Anyone have experience with this?

Re: water coming up basement floor
Do you know if there is any sort of drain system under/ around your bacement? Is there any water proofing on the floor?

Re: water coming up basement floor
Hmmm, we have a sump pump but it isn't that close to where the water is coming in. No idea about water proofing. Doubt it.
