I cannot find capsules anywhere online! Would you mind sharing the brand name?
Anyone else find capsules online? DE isn't the same as silica capsules, correct? |

This is why we do a rotation to avoid the parasites adapting and overwhelming the remedy. A few weeks a year we do clay, a few weeks of de, a few weeks of paranil and a few months of essiac (only do more of essiac because it's WAY more than an anti parasitical). I am looking into adding the one Amy and C just did but then I realized I have no reason to. Our protocol has worked for us for years and we seem to have nothing that needs assistance at the moment I also think like antibiotics, antiparasiticals can go too far and kill beneficial parasites

Not sure where to start - google beneficial parasites and you get A TON of INFO. There are studies that say that our guts have adapted to them and that they are like bacteria (beneficial to digestion).
But be careful - these things can get graphic

Jumping in here...Has anyone taken DE and seen benefits for their hair? I am having more and more thinning hair, and while I am going to start taking biotin, I am wondering if this will help as well.

Re: Diatomacious Earth ( DE ) thread :)
I know there have been a lot of posts on dosage, but how quickly do most of you move up to the 2T a day? What about the first time you used it? If I start at 1 tsp a day, should I plan to move up to 2T within 10 days/2weeks/a month?
Also, I know I should take it at a different time that my other supplements/vitamins but what about other things I mix into my smoothies? Spirulina and/or Frutein? Do I need to worry about it interfering with the absorption of the veggies/fruit I put in my smoothies? I also add flax and sometimes chia. Do I need my own thread to process all this out?

I have several supplements I am trying to balance, and I do not know when to take what. I was thinking first thing in the AM, right before my coffee, but I do not know. I also take my b vitamins then, so I am not sure if that would work or not.

Re: Diatomacious Earth ( DE ) thread :)
Here is what I take on a day when I remember to take everything:
Smoothie with yogurt, fruit (banana, berries, peaches, oj), veggies(kale, spinach) and possibility of flax, frutein, chia. Prenatal, omega 3-6-9, cal-mag-zinc with vit d, extra vit d. I already take the cal-mag-zinc seperately, i think because something in the prenatal interfered with the absorption. Unfortunately, that means I would usually forget it. Ideally, I would do the DE in my smoothie in the am. I drink way too much coffee though - would that interfere? Then the cmz with lunch, and the prenatal and omegas before bed. How does that schedule sound? I would be willing to switch it up if someone can suggest a better idea.

Re: Diatomacious Earth ( DE ) thread :)
I really want to start taking it again. We ran out a long time ago and haven't been able to get more. I'd like to sprinkle some on my sister's dogs food (they live next door and her dogs always have skin issues). I'd love to see if it helps.
I think I'll order some as soon as I can.

we would normally get silica through water and foods. but since we dont know how much we are getting from our diets that's why there is no one amount fits all. there is also no one amount to gradually work up or get to either. you can move up as quickly as your body allows. some people dont have any problem just starting with a large amount. but for those who do, it can leave you wishing you had started small. from what i have read, you can take de with anything but there might be new info i havent read yet. |
