Ramee151 Rose Blossom Join Date: Jan 2014 Location: South-Central, Wisconsin Posts: 240	Potato Soup Made a good potato soup on accident the other night--was working creatively, so I don't have precise measurements for anything. Big soup pot filled 1/2 with 1-inch cubed potatoes Water to cover potatoes 1 packet Golden G. Washington seasoning Healthy dump of dried Italian herbs (I'd say 2-3 Tbsps). Salt & Black pepper. Bring to full boil, reduce to simmer until potatoes are soft. (I had put too many potatoes in--2/3 of the pot--so I took a bunch out to make room for the next ingredients--turned those into some awesome mashed potatoes). Add in 1 can evaporated milk (NOT sweetened condensed milk) 16oz cottage cheese 1 lb frozen corn Garlic Powder Onion Powder (real onions would be better--probably 1/2 finely diced--but my last onion went bad). Several heaping Tbsps of cornstarch mixed in COLD water, then added to pot.
