Default This was delicious, *but*

I didn't like the huge tomatoes in it. I want to sub something else without changing the flavor if possible. Would diced tomatoes do the same thing? Or should I blend or chop up the stewed tomatoes? Or other ideas?

I always take a pair of scissors to giant stewed tomatoes and cut them into more bite size pieces. It spreads the tomatoes out and there's no embarrassment when you take a bite and all the juice goes spraying out the other side (or down your blouse! )

I'd do petite diced tomatoes.

I made something like this recently, but I blended the beans into marinara. Just another option since DS1 won't eat tomatoes unless they are disguised. You could also try diced tomatoes.

If you like the flavor, I would either blend up the tomatoes or chop them smaller.
