Re: December Dinners
Sunday is Pizza Night.
I think I'm going to have caramelized onions, gorgonzola, and olives on mine. I've got plenty of cheese for the kids, but not sure what else. They don't do veggies on pizza and will practically tar and feather anyone who suggests it.

Re: December Dinners
my kids are sort of crazy kooks too when it comes to pizza. Cheese pizza is the fave for 2 of them.... To me, that's boring. Your pizza sounds awesomely delicious!

Chicken noodle soup, 9 min in IP to cook noodles and veggies. Homemade. Broth.
Kids had/have flu or flu-like illnesses. Fancy, new, Thermometer said 107. Yeah, glad I also have an old school one that takes two min to come to temp +from NICU days.

Creamy Tuscan Chicken from the new THM cookbook. Everybody liked it last time. I'm subbing green beans for the spinach, though 'cuz I don't have any spinach.

Re: December Dinners
We have tons of veggies left over so I'm going to throw together a creamy soup with broccoli, potatoes, peppers, celery, carrots, cauliflower, mushrooms, and spinach.

We had Homemade Spinach Manicotti (I added sweet Italian sausage to it), stuffed cheesy bread, and baked parmesan zucchini rounds.

Re: December Dinners
The taco shredded beef turned out really yummy! Dh said itnwas a weird dichotomy (?) between the taco flavor and the beef texture. I did it in the IP for 55 minutes & NPR.

I making chicken and wild rice soup right now because it sounds good. Dh doesn't like it so he will have to make something else.

Re: December Dinners
I pulled some steaks out of the freezer this morning to broil and serve with broccoli and mashed potatoes. (Or rather, "hot mash-uh-tatoes" as Littlest calls them. )
