What do you use for anti-itchy? (mosquito bites, chicken pox, etc)
My kid scratches his mosquito bites. They drive him crazy. I have put bandaids over them to protect the skin, but what can I do to take away that awful itchy feeling? Please tell me there's something better than calamine lotion?

I use a combo of lavender and purification blend (young living), and it stops the itch really quickly.

Not natural whatsoever, but I'm pretty much in love with benadryl cream.

Baking soda and lavendar eo.
1Tbsp baking soda 2 -3 drops lavendar eo Enough water for thick paste. Apply. Cover with cloth and tie on for at least 20 minutes. Ice pack on top of the cloth also helps.

Re: What do you use for anti-itchy? (mosquito bites, chicken pox, etc)
How old? I have a Therapik. Infrared heat for about 60 seconds on the bite. It hurts/itches like crazy for the last 30 seconds, and for a second or two after you stop, but then the itch goes away. It works pretty well for me, but I don't use it on my kids b/c I'm pretty sure the extra itching/ouch initially would freak them out.

Re: What do you use for anti-itchy? (mosquito bites, chicken pox, etc)
I put an ice cube in a baggie for the kids to hold on bites, then follow up with benedryl cream. My kids and I are all mosquito magnets and we've tried nearly every remedy out there. Everyone prefers the ice cube.
