Is this a type of swimmers ear or??

The outer part of my ear is swollen and sore above my ear canal maybe slightly warm to the touch. I can feel a bit of fluid drainage if I press on it. It's only mildly painful, not severe, no other signs of illness, other ear is fine. Swimmers ear?? Is there a home treatment or do I need a prescription for something?

I wouldn't think swimmers ear if it is completely outside the canal. It sounds more like a clogged/infected pore if its what I am imagining. You could try a hot compress followed by antibiotic ointment or hydrogen peroxide or whatever antimicrobial substance you prefer

I thought it had gone away but then today I reached up to scratch my ear and it was bleeding from inside. DH said it looks like just a scratch in my ear canal. It doesn't hurt at all anymore. Idk maybe just skin irritation?
