Big J (turns 12 in 2 months) just lost the last of his first molars, and he's already lost one second molar, but still hasn't lost any of his canines yet. None of them are even loose. I've tried googling, but can't find anything helpful. Have any of your kids done this? Should I be concerned?

I've heard of random order for losing teeth before. I guess I wouldn't worry unless adult canines were coming in and causing problems.

Canines are the most likely adult teeth to not devlop - I know because early bird lost hers and the adult ones didn't come in for claw to two years so they did extra x-rays to check.
I'd they aren't loose after a year or so you might want to have it looked at. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Canines can be the last teeth to come out! And they are the ones that typically cause problems too. My 4th child had to get one surgically pulled down. But she was 13 before we had the baby tooth pulled and did the surgery.

Watch out for shark teeth. We got a vivos for my son, and it corrected his cross bite. Still fits after 18 months. Only see ortho every six months. I skip the every six week visits.
