I've been at a standstill, except I did find a buyer for an extra diaper bag I've had laying around.

I have stuff in my garage that I need to donate, but it is so hot right now that I don't even want to mess with it. As soon as the weather cools off some I am going to go through it and other stuff and call someone to haul it off.

I put some stuff on the curb, since it's never going to get donated at the rate I'm going! So far, no takers, but we live on a very quiet street. I may take it to my husband's shop, and set it out there if it doesn't go soon. At least it's not on my kitchen island anymore

I gave away a chair on Freecycle and took one box of misc. things to Goodwill. Lots more to go, but at least it's something.

We cleaned the garage today and donated a large box to Goodwill. I have another box of kids clothes to give to friends. It makes me happy to see clutter leave permanently.

I went on a bit of a rampage this morning. I paired down the kids options drastically and we made a new rule: no opening any toy bins with lids with out permission. I think the family room is going to be much more manageable.

It was a little bit cooler this morning and I don't work until around noon, so I did a little cleaning and organizing in the garage and tossed some items out. I still got hot and sweaty and dirty and it does not really look like I did much, but I did get some cleaning and organizing done. It is supposed to be cooler on Thurs and I plan to get back out there again then.

I have a big bag of outgrown children's clothes that I need to take to the clothing closet this week. I gave up on selling them. I make less and less money at consignment sales as the kids get older but it requires the same amount of work to prep for. I'm uncluttering not just my house but my life. Simplify, simplify, simplify and only fill those spaces with needed joy-filled experiences.

I am joining in too! This past week I have been getting our school room ready and I got rid of all kinds of stuff.

It felt good to get rid of it. Now to work on organizing everything.

Here's a helpful system- helps me take tiny bites and stay motivated.

Did day 1- and I only have 5 drawers in my kitchen, so it was nice and easy.
