Thank you both! The link is fixed now. Sorry I took so long to fix it.

Just wanted to mention that though I think there is a lot of helpful info there, I don't agree with everything suggested on his site -- such as I don't agree with the ideas suggested that are supportive of traditional timeouts and I don't like the article "8 Admonitions to Parents Who Chose to Spank."

Well, I just found this link to be VERY helpful. I frequently struggle with yelling or wanting to yell and this is a blog written by a mom who decided to stop yelling for a full year (although she exceeded her goal ). This post is about what she learned while not yelling:

theorangerhino.com/10-things-i-learned-when-i-stopped-yelling-at-my-kids/

What really struck me is that many of these things are true for spanking as well

Oh, that sounds like a great link. I am looking forward to check it out!

I just realized I really need to update the links and add some more. Hopefully I can do that soon!

The GOYB parenting link isn't working anymore

Anyone know whether Joanne moved her site elsewhere?

Doctor Sears' link is also not working... and the positive discipline article archive link leads to an error page.
