I've been very happy with my Verizon Wireless pay per call plan. I purchase $100 of minutes once a year (which gives me over 6 hours) the minutes are good for 1 year and if you renew prior to your year being up, they carry over any unused minutes.

I ended up getting the Straight Talk with the $30 card. That gives me 1,000 minutes and 1,000 texts as well. I bought myself the best phone they had, too. Now, ds19yo and I text each other. Fun

It's a good way to connect with my techie kid.
