What to do with Interlocking Foam Floor Pads
I have a bunch of those multicolored interlocking foam floor pads. I had them in an art room at our old place. Now, I have no idea what to do with them. I am thinking I should probably get rid of them, but I hate to do that in someways because they can be so great. Maybe in my laundry room? What ways can they be used best?

do you have a basement? I imagine they'd be fantastic for a cement basement floor.

Re: What to do with Interlocking Foam Floor Pads
under bathroom sinks in case of small leaks? Not totally waterproof, though. Every sink trap in my house has a bucket under it.
They could be nice on a patio to make it softer for kids to play

Re: What to do with Interlocking Foam Floor Pads
Good ideas. I think I will keep them. DS enjoyed putting them together and tearing them apart last winter so I think forts or temp playmats on some days might be a good use of them.

Re: What to do with Interlocking Foam Floor Pads
They could go under sleeping bags as well, either for kids or adults.

Re: What to do with Interlocking Foam Floor Pads
I like them in the laundry room so the floor isn't so hard.

Re: What to do with Interlocking Foam Floor Pads
We don't have a rug in our little guys room so we put them in a few spots so it's softer for him. It's also not so cold. I think I use them more than he does...he doesn't seem to mind.
We've also used them outside under his blow up pool on our cement patio. I made it big enough so that when he got out he would have a place to put his feet & I can also kneel on the outside to play with him. When my niece came to visit, she liked to have something a little softer to sit on to play at the sand/water table with him. I think we're going to invest in the outdoor one's this year because it did get a bit annoying to keep picking them up/putting them out whenever we wanted to play. |
