I made a taco quinoa bake that was really good. And leftovers ran out yesterday. So, I need to go to the store...

What's your recipe? I have quinoa and have never really cooked with it because I know so little about it. I want a very kid friendly dish to try first.... Thinking a casserole sounds like a good potential.

Charla, what happened with the explosion? Were your potatoes in something? I didn't realize things would explode on the grill.. I mean I know that cooking can make good explode without adequate ventilation but didn't realize something that withstood the heat of the oven might explode on the grill!

It was a glass pyrex dish that exploded. I'm thinking I had the heat set too high.

If I can get the grill cleaned out, we will have grilled shrimp skewers, grilled bell pepper and zucchini packets, polenta for the adults, rice for the kids, and a tomato lemon scampi sauce.

Pork chops, "gravy," and brown rice, green beans on the side. And Ghirardelli Cherry Tango was the perfect dessert for it

We had friends over last night, so DH smoked a big brisket and I made an Italian chopped salad, watermelon, rolls, and blueberry cobbler a la mode.

We grilled out. Veggies (onion, cabbage, zucchini), lime marinated chicken breast. Hot dogs and mushrooms were added to the grill later.

Served with fresh guacamole and chips, along with some fresh wild blueberries that we had just picked that afternoon.
