Gluten free lemon cake

We had a very good lemon cake for our wedding cake. It was more vanilla with a subtle but nice lemon tones not overly sweet.
Our anniversary is Thursday ( 15th) I'd like to bake a lemon cake but want it gluten free so we can all celebrate.
Any good recipes? I'd love something moist as gluten free tends to be dry. We are fine with dairy eggs sugar etc just no gluten.

I made a lovely lemon cake last week. It is fro. The Silvana's kitchen cook book. Well the one in the book is plain vanilla but I normally add lemon to it. I can grab the recipie latter.

What a great idea! We love Silvania's cookbook and use it regularly. We've made her vanilla cake multiple time. I've never thought to add lemon! Sounds good.

Do you add lemon zest? Juice? Extract? Other?

The Cook's Illustrated GF cookbook has a lovely lemon pound cake recipe. There's a yellow layer cake that I haven't yet tried, but I imagine you could flavor it with lemon easily. (I usually use both juice and zest in other baked goods.)

It depends on what I have on had. I always use lemon extract and then gets if I have it. I have also added candies lemon peel cut up really fine before.
