Re: December dinner
starting point:
http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/ruby-chicken That's from their old magazine Cooking for Two, so I start by doubling it. Other changes: --I didn't bother with the flour this time, just browned the chicken in butter. We didn't miss it --I reduce the sugar--probably about 1/2 cup total (for the doubled recipe) --I add more cranberries (maybe 1/2 cup?) after I've created the sauce, when I add it to the chicken --I use a whole small onion, just because I don't feel like measuring 2 T or saving the rest and b/c we love onion --I use boneless breasts and cut them up into serving size pieces so it doesn't take so long We're having shepherd's pie tonight. I thought I had used up all the lamb broth and most of the lamb from Easter, but discovered more in the freezer! We can have SP like two more times besides tonight, so that should last us until next Easter

Ground beef, quinoa, carrots, and tomatoes. Good bit of olive oil. Celtic sea salt, pepper, onion powder, and parsley.

Re: December dinner
No. I don't have an instant pot. And I didn't post the pic anywhere on FB. Someone must've had the same idea as me!

Re: December dinner
Last night we had chicken breasts, cheddar rice, green beans and cinnamon sauteed apples.
Tonight I'm planning millet-crusted tilapia, gf pasta with marinara, and french onion zoodle bake.

Re: December dinner
We cleaned out the fridge last night. Tonight we're having friends over for white chicken chili. No idea what I'm serving with it, but I'm thinking the chili should be extra good when I make it with the stock I made from the turkey carcasses we smoked last weekend. That stock is GOOOOD.
