How did your turkey work out? Or how is it going?

Re: Walk me through turkey baking
it came out great!
I ended up doing it a little opposite of some suggestions I started covered low 275 for about 90 minutes with just salt and pepper then uncovered at 350 for about another 90 minutes with some lemon garlic onion rosemary thyme compound butter. I made a gravy with the drippings and neckbone it came out sooo good. The popper thing was still in when I pulled it and I let it rest quite a bit (about as long as it cooked) meat was tender not dry at all. https://www.snapfish.com/library/sha...40070/SNAPFISH

Re: Walk me through turkey baking
Looks delicious! My mother in law always cooks her turkey at lower temps for a long time and it's what she swears by. There are so many cooking theories so it's just a matter of finding the one that works best for you. Glad it turned out well!
